Background Information
The world of Artificial Intelligence (AI) - a groundbreaking technology revolutionizing various tasks - has taken the world by storm. AI has developed significantly from, measuring heart rate to writing code, in the last few years. The pinnacle achievement in AI, however, is none other than Self-Driving Cars.
The concept of self-driving cars has been around for close to 100 years by now. However, the first truly autonomous car was built by Carnegie Mellon through their ALV project in the 1980s, closely followed by Mercedes Benz's Eureka Prometheus Project. As time went on, however, companies such as GM, Google, Toyota and more researched heavily into this field. However, the current pioneer in self-driving cars is none other than Elon Musk's company, Tesla.

As of 2024, all Tesla models can fully drive by themselves (although drivers must stay alert), but a question that has been controversial in this state-of-the-art is how safely self-driving cars can follow laws and understand road signs. That is what we are going to delve into in this blog.
Introduction to Project
In this blog, I will research how cars can implement road signs to be comprehended by Artificial Intelligence, which I will then prove by making my device that can identify these road signs. I will divide my work throughout a few days, helping you guys as readers follow my thought process and decision-making. In the end, I will summarize my findings, and give some extra information. Let's Start!
